The Voltron Starshooter 110 is a toy camera in the best meaning of the word. It looks like a cheap plastic fake SLR with viewfinder and awful plastic lens; but you have to play with it to find out that it's much more of a toy than many so-called "toy cameras". Then it unfolds and becomes a science fiction hero as if it jumped out of the computer screen from a space invaders shooting game. But the puppet is also a camera; its shoulder region contains a real pocket camera for 110 film cartridges. It was made in Macau (then a Portuguese colony; now returned to China) for Impulse Ltd. of Missouri (USA) in 1985.
