FAQ for refurbished/vintage cameras

Are the cameras brand new?

The cameras are usually not new. They are vintage/old and probably have been used many thimes. Even if they are BNIB (brand new in box), they had to withstand the test of time. Refer further to FAQ on condition of cameras.

What are the conditions of the cameras?

All the cameras have been checked and cleaned in-house. Do view the photos and descriptions as we'll try to be as specific as we can on the state/condition of the cameras. Common visible wear are aesthetic eg. the worn leather, worn grip area & shutter button etc, minor scratches and specks in viewfinder etc. Note that these 'minor' wear and tear will not be highlighted in the description. Condition of the cameras are not limited to the highlighted in description.

Are the cameras checked?

The cameras have been checked on workability before they are listed online. We will also do another round of checks before sending the camera out. In the event that the camera has problems during the 2nd round of checks, the order will be refunded.

Is there warranty?

For all working cameras, they come with a 14 days defects warranty. The warranty does not cover change of mind, defects or malfunction caused by misuse, abuse or improper maintenance, or use with equipment with which it is not intended to be used. It doesn’t cover cosmetic or incidental damages. Also, the warranty will not apply to damage caused by unauthorized alteration, modification or repair of the product. Do note, warranty coverage is only for within Singapore.

Are there repair services?

We no longer provide repair services.
