WARRANTY
1. Warranty Coverage & Scope
We warrant to the original purchaser that products sold by 8storeytree are free from defects in materials or workmanship during the applicable warranty period (as listed on the product page) when used under normal, non-commercial, and intended use.
This warranty covers repair or replacement of the product (at our discretion) and does not include refunds.
For refurbished/vintage items (online only), warranty is limited to 14 days (local, Singapore only).
2. What the Warranty Does Not Apply
- to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches or dents;
- to damage caused by use with a third party component or product;
- to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, mishandling, misplacement, or alteration;
- to damage caused by fire, earthquake, electrical power problems, theft, or other external cause;
- to damage caused by operating the product outside guidelines and/or with incompatible accessories or a third party device;
- to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product;
- if the serial number of the product has been removed or altered;
- to damage caused as a result of improper transportation or packing/packaging when returning the product;
- warranty also does not cover consumable parts that will diminish over time. eg. flashes, batteries etc.
- to other clauses that are/have been determined by/in the product's company warranty policy.

4. Warranty Procedures
To make a warranty claim:

Ensure you still hold your original sales receipt or order confirmation.

Contact us at info@8storeytree.com to describe the issue and we may ask you to send photos/videos.

Bring the product physically to our office (by appointment only) for an assessment. Visits to our office are by appointment only. (Please note that assessments, verifications and repairs may take a few days.)

We will inspect the product to determine whether the fault is due to manufacturing or workmanship. If the defect is covered, we will repair or replace it at our cost (subject to parts availability).

If the product is found NOT to be covered (for example, due to misuse), we will inform you of any chargeable repair or replacement cost.
5. General Terms

Warranty is valid only in Singapore and only for the original purchaser. It is non-transferable.

The warranty is valid only when items are brought to our office for assessment; shipping items without prior agreement may be rejected or incur costs.

After repair or replacement, the product continues to be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, or 14 days from repair completion, whichever is longer (if applicable).

We reserve the right to decide whether a product is “out of warranty” based on these terms.

This warranty adds to, and does not replace, your statutory rights under the Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act etc.
Note : The warranty, if valid, guarantees that the product will be repaired, or in the event it is deemed unrepairable, will be exchanged. The warranty does not involve refunds or any monetary compensations of any kind.
